Domitille Michalon-Bertier

A childhood lived between the beach of Calais and Vanuatu, in nature, chilly beaches and golden sand, the smell of the sea and the forest, a sense of freedom, never taken for granted. Today, you can encounter Domitille in Paris, she goes to museums every week. She goes to drink in the creativity of other people, absorb it, be inspired by it, understand it. When Domitille works on the architecture of her perfumes, she feeds her imagination with fragments of life from close to home or further afield. Fragments from today or yesterday. She creates her perfumes as she was writing a literary masterpiece: "A book that grabs you and keeps hold of you to the point where you can taste the food on the page, you shiver in the wintry landscapes, your mouth begins watering. I want to sweep people away the way I am swept away on the wings of imagination.”

"What inspires me is being in a space, moving around it and being moved.”
